Complaints are reports from owners of this model year, not findings about any particular vehicle, and a model that sold in large numbers will collect more of them. They are counted here as filed; nothing is inferred from them.

20V6920002020-11-10

POWER TRAIN:AXLE ASSEMBLY:AXLE SHAFT

The failed bracket could result in a loss of park function which can cause unintended vehicle movement, and loss of motive power while driving which increases the risk of a crash.

15V0050002015-01-09

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP

If the fuel pump fails, the vehicle may stall without warning, increasing the risk of a crash.

14V3930002014-07-02

POWER TRAIN:AXLE ASSEMBLY:AXLE SHAFT

If the halfshaft and linkshaft become disengaged while driving, power will no longer be transmitted to the wheels, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. Additionally, if the parking brake is not applied before exiting the vehicle, the vehicle may roll away despite the transmission being placed in 'Park', increasing the risk of injury to exiting occupants and bystanders.

Two 2014 FORD EDGEs can have entirely different histories, and a recall campaign usually covers a build-date window rather than a whole model year — which a VIN does not encode, so only the door-jamb label settles it. Scanning the VIN adds the decode, the crash tests, the fuel economy and the complaints matched to that exact engine, trim and assembly plant.
