POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:GEAR POSITION INDICATION (PRNDL)

A damaged or missing bushing may prevent the vehicle from shifting into the intended gear, and cause the vehicle to move in an unexpected direction. Additionally, the vehicle may roll after the driver selects the 'Park' position. Either scenario increases the risk of a crash or injury.

20V3310002020-06-08

LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:DOORS:LATCH

A door that is not securely latched could open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of injury to a vehicle occupant.

18V5920002018-09-10

EQUIPMENT:ELECTRICAL

An overheated cord can increase the risk of a fire.

16V6430002016-09-06

LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES:DOORS:LATCH

A door that is not securely latched could open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of injury to a vehicle occupant.

14V5970002014-09-26

AIR BAGS

The short circuits could cause the frontal air bags, side curtain air bags and the seat belt pretensioners to not function as intended when needed, increasing the risk of occupant injury in the event of a crash.

14V2370002014-05-07

AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:SENSOR/CONTROL MODULE-INACTIVE

If the side-curtain rollover air bag is delayed in deploying in certain rollover circumstances, the risk of injury to the passengers is increased.

This page is about a model, not a car

Two 2013 FORD C-MAXs can have entirely different histories, and a recall campaign usually covers a build-date window rather than a whole model year — which a VIN does not encode, so only the door-jamb label settles it. Scanning the VIN adds the decode, the crash tests, the fuel economy and the complaints matched to that exact engine, trim and assembly plant.
