SUSPENSION: ADJUSTMENT:AUTOMATIC ELECTRICAL/HYDRAULIC

If one of the hoses between the cylinder and the external counterbalance valve manifold were to fail to hold pressure, the boom could unexpectedly lower, increasing the risk of an injury.

EQUIPMENT:MECHANICAL

If the fasteners that attach the aerial device to the truck fail, the boom may unintentionally move, increasing the risk of personal injury or death to the aerial device user or those nearby.

Two 2014 ALTEC AH125s can have entirely different histories, and a recall campaign usually covers a build-date window rather than a whole model year — which a VIN does not encode, so only the door-jamb label settles it. Scanning the VIN adds the decode, the crash tests, the fuel economy and the complaints matched to that exact engine, trim and assembly plant.
